Our Procedures and Methods

The main goal of our IT Management Consultancy business is to provide services which ensure that your business will not be let down by a failed IT based development program – whether carried out in-house or by a vendor. Our success is in achieving this is founded in the application of rigour to all aspects of product development and support using processes and tools that embody knowledge gathered from hundreds of projects.

That knowledge comes from our own very experienced consultants and from the major use we make of the industry body of knowledge from; organisations such as the Software Engineering Institute at Carnegie Mellon University; inspirational leaders in Quality such as Deming, Putnam and Caper Jones et al.

Over the years we have developed Key Program Views that enable us to view a project, programme or development/support organisation from multiple perspectives. The only way to get a complete view of all critical aspects is to look at these multiple aspects separately and then integrate them into a holistic plan. Many programs ignore one or more of these Key Program Views and, therefore, fail to meet some key goals or requirements.
