The objective of the first phase of any project is to promptly identify the key variables. This phase analyses a series of technical options relevant to your IT operation and user requirements. These options are costed to provide a range of budgets from which you can decide upon a level of investment applicable to your business, thus developing a Project Brief.

Project Phase 2 – Project Initiation

PlansIT Design Strategy
This phase defines the project requirements in commercial, technical and logistical terms. All the technical elements for each domain are considered, recommendations agreed and related conceptual designs produced. From these, a detailed project budget and programme are created, while core engineering data regarding equipment accommodation are passed over to the professional team. The product of this phase is the Project Initiation Document.

Project Phase 3 – Work Packages

Phase Three is the design development phase. This produces a final detailed design and specification and a series of Invitations to Tender - where pre-qualified IT systems suppliers quote in accordance with a well-defined procurement process. This process is extremely thorough, and is designed to obtain optimum terms for the client, whilst reducing the risk of the project to quantifiable and acceptable levels.

Project Phase 4 – Product Delivery
